Looks like the second round of Pre-order dates for Sony's popular PS4 console have a mid December due date.  Depending on retailer, getting one before Christmas could be a case of Pot luck due to no actual date being set in stone.  Optimistic JB Hifi sales staff have offered a possible date of 14th of December as the actual first delivery though this could change at any time.

Pre-orders for the first and second shipments directly from Sony online are now closed with only an offer to Pre-Order now to secure your place in the February, 2014 shipment.
